The Azlanti always struck me as uninspired and uninspiring as a progenitor race. Humans with beefy attributes just doesn't really spark my imagination. That said, looks good with the exception of the Linguist racial trait, as I found no indication of anything but a Standard language array in related text.
It may be that I missed some important text in a book somewhere, or it may be that we attribute higher linguistic knowledge with these forgotten races (for some reason).

If you look into the new Inner Sea World Guide on page 12 it states, 'Unlike a typical human, a pureblooded ancient Azlanti
gains a +2 bonus to all six ability scores. Such powerful
humans can become player characters only with the
permission of the GM.'
I hope this helps, if it hasn't already been taken into account.

an Azlanti would most likely have Ancient Foe - humanoid (reptilian), due to their ophidiophobic / xenophobic conflict with the serpentfolk. The humanoid type foe could be substituted for an Aboleth with a character or regional trait, for those Azlanti that were involved in the conflict with the Aboleth before the Starfall.

huh people got pretty serious about this, not my intention but i like it. i was just going by inner sea world guide but i also had the thought about droppping linguistics also how about hatred (aberrations) but limited to aboleths. its still got some room folks lets take it to 30RP.
I went with a group referred to as, "The First" for my homebrew campaign setting. A collection of progenitor species that are either dormant, extinct, or still active either openly or in secret.
Topics of this nature always draw my attention.=)
I'm only vaguely familiar with the Azlanti lore, but if they were enemies of the Aboleth, something along the line of Hatred or Ancient Foe would be very fitting, as you guys mentioned above.
