I'm looking for a short adventure or scenario that can be used in between Blood for Blood and War of the River Kings to boost my PCs by a level or so. It seems they are hanging behind and will finish part 4 while not yet level 12.

So, can anyone recommend an adventure that would fit with these levels? It should also fit thematically, by which I mean that it fits with the position of the Kingmaker story at this point and also that it should motivate the rulers of our kingdom to do the work themselves and not just have their underlings deal with it. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

I have been considering doing something in between here as well, and after reviewing my Pathfinder adventures, I am leaning towards The Curse of the Riven Sky. It affects the weather, which is sure to get PCs attention, and has a complicated storyline as far as who is the bad guy and who do the PCs help vs fight against. All of this ties in well with the general them of Kingmaker (IMHO).

As an added bonus, there is a floating cloud castle the PCs could somehow end up with if the GM so desired. It might be a bit low at 10th lvl, but considering they are giants, that shouldn't be too hard to tweak for higher level.

That sounds like a nice fit, but I'm afraid one of my players knows this adventure already. I'll have to check.

I simply gave my peeps some time of and asked what they wanted to do for athe upcoming year.

Great roleplaying lead to great fun, and now they are ready.
And they didn't even say "take a break" :)

The Harrowing Could be levelled up and adapted. Thematically Nyrissa herself might show up as a Harrower and trap the PCs within the deck.

The Ruby Phoenix Tournament move the Tournament from Tian Xia to Brevoy, an Island in the Lake of Mists. Invite the PCs, invite Pitax, and other neighbours to the PC's kingdom.

Other wise, why not put together a couple of home made dungeons?

Thanks for your tips. Unfortunately I already used The Harrowing earlier in the campaign. I'm sure the Ruby Phoenix translates well to a western Setting.

I don't really have the time to create something myself anymore.
