On the latest in the series I am asked whether the feat Improved Critical is overpowered and speculate myself on whether weapon damages are appropriate.

Your video is incorrect. Double threat range of 18-20 is 15-20. 18, 19, 20. Three chances to critical. Double that is six chances to critical. That becomes 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20.
This is where 30% comes in. 6chances *5% = 30%.
