Need a good loremaster organization

Homebrew and House Rules

I'm running a homebrew and I have a PC interested in becoming a Loremaster PrC in a few levels. I'm wondering if anyone has some good suggestions for a guild, consortium, cabal or otherwise for him to join.

I'd like to see a neutral-aligned Candlekeep group; perhaps doubling as an arcane academy as well.

The Elders:

An originally elven group, writing history down, gathering lore, living in a huge tree citadel, being guarded by treants and fey. Now they recently began to allow membership for other races after a half-elf (Enlightened Philosopher Oracle) became their leader.

Many of them are nature-close, some are wizards, all seek ancient knowledge or atleast try to protect/hide it.

As a group closely related/connected to fey and nature, and many of them being druids, the bonus language on level 4 would most likely be Druidic

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The Reaping

What began as a group of Pharasmin clergy has grown into a society of sages, scholars and necromancers all bent on preserving the legacy and lore of previous generations.

The modern city of Dunspar is built over more a more ancient settlement which paved over its necropolis. Thinking these to be common streets the city fathers generations before simply used them as such. Within the last 50 years the Pharasmin priests have reclaimed these underground crypts and chambers, re-consecrating and expanding the area into a vault of lore.

Now this Necrolibrary is visited by scholars and many others to use and trade lore. Mainly focused on the achievements of previous human generations the Pharasmin vault has expanded over time to include more general pursuits. A society of seekers and protectors of this lore has evolved from necessity.

The Reaping is the name of this society. To be a member one mus only demonstrate a passion for the achievements of their forbears and a willingness to see it preserved for future generations.
