NOTICE!

The first ever meeting of the real Life Shadow Lodge (RLSL) will convene on Wednesday, August 15, in the evening at Union Station in Indianapolis, Indiana. While the Venture Captains and Decemvirate feast and congratulate themselves in honor of their own greatness, as an act of defiance we shall meet and play PFS without their express consent! We will plot their downfall and the liberation of the common fan!! Fellow Pathfinder Society rebels should arrive no later than 6:30 pm and should be prepared to GM a season 3 scenario. We have surreptitiously lured some sixty of the Pathfinder Society's greenest members for recruitment to our cause. Report to room Edison North of Union Station at the appointed time to begin the indoctrination. The wearing of masks is encouraged, for your personal safety and the good of our most noble cause.

Hopefully Im not dropping this spoiler too soon, but the only thing that the new version of the guide has that the old one doesnt is that it says 'Todd is ICVC4LIFE' in there someplace.

Anyway, on topic, this message is pretty sweet. I think I'm gonna try to do something like that for my local cons from now on when I announce the events.

Silly "RLSL"ers. They think they don't have the express consent to play Pathfinder Society. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to play in the campaign, independent of whether or not there are official campaign volunteers or Paizo staff present. It's why we release the adventures for anyone to play when and where they choose.

Hope everyone has a good time! Maybe when I'm done with the organizational meetings my job requires I can stop by. See ya there, Kevin.

Hope we pick up some walk-ins for the normal slots at Gen Con. We have quite a few tickets avaiable for Tier 1-5 games and I would love nothing more than some of these new, 60 greenest PFS players to come on over during the four days and get the experience of their lives playing among 75 tables of other PFS players. See you at Gen Con!

It's not released yet? I have a copy of it sitting right here on my desk. Man, it looks nice! I don't know why you can't see it, Eric.

Wow. My instinctive reply to this isn't acceptable on the boards, so I'll just sit here and chuckle.

I thought the event went really well. The morning and afternoon slots worked out because not every ticketed player showed up and the night time slot worked out because there were enough GMs (even with drop-ins). I was pretty sure I was getting a 7 player table but I had only 5 players.

As I suspected, almost all of the players were completely new to PFS (and all of my players were 100% new). I asked them if they knew about Scotties or Arsenal and they did not. They were basically there because the event was in the Gencon schedule.

That night I successfully converted five 4E players to PFS. Yeah! Thank you Frostfur Captives! I also had another guy (from Israel) drop-in for 30 minutes, that had never played (and he never got a PFS #), but I guess he had enough fun that he wanted to try PFS on Thursday morning (met him at the mustering station). So for me, mission complete, and it was very satisfying.

The room itself was great, tonnes of table space for maps, and it was also very easy to hear everyone. (I had trouble hearing at times in the PFS room this year).

Kevin did a great job organizing, mustering, and was very generous to his GMs in terms of gifts. Thanks for organizing Kevin.
