Question about the ascetic path maneuver.

Maneuver: Beginning at 3rd level, as an immediate action, you can expend your psionic focus to gain a +2 dodge bonus to your AC until the beginning of your next turn. This bonus increases by +1 for every five Psychic warrior levels you have. In addition, if you did this in response to an attack and that attack misses you, you may take a 5-foot step as part of this action.
Can I use this after I see the results of an attack roll? That would make this ability incredibly awesome.

Thanks for the speedy answer.
On a semi-related note:
I've been waiting to play a psionic character for a while now. Recently we started a new campaign and my GM allowed psionics. I gotta say, psychic warriors are really fun. I really like the changes you guys have made to 3.5 psionics. I like the feel of all the unlimited use abilities like path powers and nomad's step. It makes it feel like my character knows how to bend reality, as opposed to just having a limited number of "shots" of some cool ability, like wizard school powers.
