We discussed this a few years back - what 100 ideas would be awesome in a sci-fi. But the world has changed and we have changed. So what do you think would be the thing you would like in your ideal sci-fi/fantasy film/novel?
1. Planet of the Apes with Pirate ships.
2. A giant steel/stone head (aka prometheus).
3. An alien empress pulled across a Sumerian city by a hundred human slaves on her throne with wheels.
4. A colossal archive filled with the dead and archivists who speak to them to learn their secrets.
5. A city sized space ship falling from the sky over medieval europe.
6. An a.i. driven boomerang hunter drone that captures dingos and brings them back to the mothership to be probed.
7. Genetically engineered carnivorous rat kangaroos that hunt dingoes in packs.
8. The U.S. gets a new star on the flag for the Moon Colony, the Mars Colony, and the Alpha Centauri colony.
9. A giant dingo-extinction event cane toad swims to Japan to fight Godzilla.
11. Soylent Vegemite: Australia sends bumper crop of dingos to North Korea and end famine there. Turns out the "dingo's" are really all of the country's internet trolls.
At the end, Mel Gibson says,
"everybody, listen to me! Soylent Vegemite isn't made out of dingos. It's internet trolls!"

12. Rise of the Planet of the Koalas
all the dogs, including dingoes, are extinct due to a virus; mankind misses dogs (well, the non dingoes) and decides to have koalas as pets. But the koalas are smart; they got injected with some radioactive stuff stolen from North Korea.
And they take over Australia.
I give it 4 thumbs up!!!

Black and white/color film - Middle aged man walking around a very small city. All the people working in the town are in their teens. One or two seem even younger. He is doing things but does not seem to have a job. He gets bored and watches TV all the shows are in Black and White. Until the news comes on. Then TV is in color and the world is in Black and White. The Man is now an Old man who looks outside and all the middle aged people are elderly while the people who are working are no longer teens but middle aged.
He spends the film trying to figure out what is real and what is fantasy.
He has Alzheimers and is a patient in a small "community" designed to keep him and the other patients calm... or is he??
Don't have a movie yet. Just a name.
Stringo Theory.
All I got is a dingo extermination event so far.

Don't know if we can have Vegemite in it without alienating non Australians who hate Vegemite.
14. An Opening Scene where a cute girl uses a terapixil i-pad camera to image the lunar colony from earth and then uses a Rifle to assassinate a target on the lunar colony from earth.
18. An actual *human* Voltron.
19. A time-using society capable of movement across time in the same way most sci-fi societies move across space with the same nonchalant attitude.
