trend your fried?
.
Looks like things got better (judging by google-gun, but by how much?)
"They" say we are in a perfect storm of economic indicators all indicating
things will be getting better.
Except! The definition of "better" has changed. So, this may point to only rainbows.
.
Do you think we are seeing >this< latest up-tick because of holiday sales,
or because the economy will get worse in 2014?.

Google indicators still show things are getting better.

Furthermore, check this out. There was recently a post about the "Hardest
Places to Live", and if you look at Google and correlate what the people
living there tend to search for, you get >this:<
Correlated with WorstPlaces:
0.8971 free diabetic
0.8855 antichrist
0.8837 .38 revolver
0.8836 ways to lower blood pressure
0.8825 diabetic diet
0.8820 about hell
0.8810 the antichrist
0.8782 dog benadryl
0.8777 severe itching
(Google (and Facebook) know what you are doing on-line.)

Pretty sure that it's not quite so simple as "GUN LAWS YAY!"
Mexico can't enforce it's gun laws, so they don't really count.
And at least some, possibly a large percentage, of the guns used in Mexico are brought in from the US. Having a porous border with a country with lax gun laws doesn't help much.
Just like states with tough gun laws are continually being sabotaged by states with less regulation on official sales and absolutely none on private. (the example I quoted above being the case.)
Here's a tidbit. New Jersey has a strict and total ban on fireworks purchase and use save for those with a commercial license. Pennsylvanians aren't allowed to buy fireworks in state. But there is no restriction on selling. Hence, the New Jersey/Pennsylvania border is dotted by Pennsylvania stores whose only purpose is to sell fireworks to New Jerseyans crossing the state border.

Lengthening that 30+ seconds of "Guns" preview into the real Full Length thing...
P.S. Not recommended for "workplace" viewing- for more reasons than one...
P.P.S. Definitely inspired by this bit of AMV...
P.P.P.S. The above link is (mildly) NSFW either.
