Two AP on the same month?

Skull & Shackles 6 and Shattered Star 1 are going to be released the same month? Both are schedule for aug 16 on the page! Is this a normal practice?

Only when they've been behind schedule and are catching up to it.

I.e. A few months back we got no Adventure Path instalment, which is why we're getting two in August (and the same reason for why we got two this month, turns out there's a reason they had to go out and hire Daigle beyond him being a top guy.)

Yeah I believe it happened twice this year? But on the flip side that meant twice this year we got no AP. While it isn't normal it did seem to happen at least once a year. Hopefully with the new set up Kajehase alluded to this will be a thing of the past.

So far we've gotten the 1st two Shattered Star APs out to the printer on time as scheduled. That's actually the first time that's happened... usually they're about a week late. The fact that Adam's now here means that for the first time the AP line actually has MAYBE enough people working on it as far as the schedule cares... which is nice!

What would one have to do to *not* get two AP in August?
Shattered Star looks great but reminds very much of a campaign I already ran for 6 years. So I am not all that jazzed on starting that all over again. Yet I'm very keen on completing the Skull & Shackles collection (which I'm thoroughly enjoying so far and look forward to the final installment so I can start prepping the campaign. Giddygiddygiddy :-) )

Is there a way to divorce the two to only get the one and maybe sit out Shattered Star?

Seems to happen every July/Aug/Sep when we roll over to the new AP and the paizocon/gencon/origins trilogy happens. I now budget appropriately for july/aug/sep. It's summer christmas lol!
