The book that we get sent out to gaming stores and the like is going to be B&W. It's just not possible for us to do color at a reasonable cost given the volumes we do. Even if we did a 1000-copy print run in color, we'd have to price it at $150 to get into retail stores and not lose money, and that's just not going to happen.
We're looking into doing a limited-edition color print run, but that would truly be limited edition.
I got my book last week and while I will do a proper review once I have played with it more, I have to say I love the Cryptic! This is the best Psychic Rogue yet.
I wish I had an Eberron game going on just so I could run a Cannith Cryptic Trapsmith.
