Whatever happened to them? They were such wonderful creatures and Pathfinder didn't include them? Did I miss them or did they go 4th ed? I pray to Tiamat that is not the case, but if that is what happened then it looks like I will have to make use of that new book on races.

Dragonspawn are WotC IP.

Tiamat the five-different-chromatic-heads-dragon-evil-goddess is WotC IP as well (the name "Tiamat" itself isn't).

Did that happen with all of the Ancient gods as well. We have no Thor, Bast, Ra...I feel so cheated by having to use new fictional gods. very sad face D:

I mean, we have real-world sources for Thor, Bast, Ra and the rest. Just port them to PF yourself? Use the same domains as 3e Deities & Demigods, or pick your own. I'm not sure why you would need published material on that.

Thor, Bast, Ra, Tiamat (hystorical Tiamat) are all public domain.

The fact that they don't appear in most fantasy RPGs is because game writers usually prefer their own ideas about deities, as it allows them to fit deities to the world they are building and not the other way round.

My interest in it was more of the historical/mythological stand point. You know? Educational references and the like. A certain amount of realism, even in a fantasy realm adds a kind of flavor to the campaign that I like.
