Fiendish Heritage is it legal? Or can the boon only be play vanilla?

Liberty's Edge 5/5

Legal.

As per the Additional Resources entry on Blood of Fiends: "Heritages: all heritages on pages 18–23 are legal...."

If you are talking about the feat from The Bastards of Erebus the answer is no. However, it is not needed. So long as you have Blood of Fiends you can select one of the heritages in there without needing the Fiendish Heritage feat.

Liberty's Edge

Are the variant Tiefling Abilities on pages 16 & 17 of Blood of Fiends legal?

edit: Nevermind, found where it says they're not.

I am more curious about which spells do or don't effect them. Does enlarge/reduce person or charm person, hold person or several others?

No, they are not of the humanoid subtype, so Enlarge/Reduce/Charm/Hold Person will not, along with other spells like Daze, etc.

Here's a list of spells that specifically target humanoids and so cannot affect outsiders.

Daze

Early Judgment
Enlarge Person

Fairness
Ghoul touch
Hold Person

Mad Hallucination

Sentry Skull
Skeleton Crew
Sotto Voce
Unconscious Agenda

There are actually a few other spells that Tieflings and Aasimars as Outsiders (Native) avoid or interact with differently (or in a few cases their corpses can't be used):

Ghoul Hunger

Create Undead (Outsider corpses can't be used for many types of Undead, if this impacts a player they have a rather major problem - i.e. being dead)

Antilife Shell (Outsiders can pass through the shell) - though this probably won't show up in most PFS play except perhaps at the highest level modules

Also noteworthy is that certain class or creature abilities won't work on Outsiders. For example the Witch's Charm hex only works on humanoids.

Shadow Lodge 4/5 **** Venture-Captain, Michigan—Mt. Pleasant

I also realized that they're immune to lycanthropy as well, since it can only be contracted by humanoids.

Wow.. native outsider is very very potent in a specific way...

Antilife Shell does show up in at least 1 PFS Scenario (although probably only that one)

Shadow Lodge

Now, the question is how would antilife shell interact with Aasimar's with the Scion of Humanity alternate racial trait (who count as humanoid (human) and outsider (native) at the same time).
