The Grandfather retires

Fellow Pathfinders,

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that I will step down as Venture-Captain for Denmark by the end of July (after PaizoConUK).

I have had a lot of memorable moments with the PFS and wish to thank Paizo, my fellow Venture-Captains and Venture-Lieutenants, as well as all the people I have encountered and played with the last few years. It has been a lot of fun!

I especially wish to thank Mike, Mark, Hyrum and Joshua for creating and growing this awesome campaign.

For the time being Denmark will still have an active Venture-Officer, namely Jacob Trier, who can be contacted on [e-mail]

This saddens me. I was looking forward to coming back to Cph and playing at your table (whether Fantask of Frederiksberg Bibliotek).

I do hope you're not gone completely from the Society; you've definitely set the bar high for Denmark and lets face it, if I hadn't had so much fun this spring I wouldn't be trying to kickstart PFS in Reykjavík.

Hope to see you this fall whatever may come, and roll some dice though!

Thanks for all your hard work on behalf of the campaign, Diego. I know it hasn't always been easy for those of you working to grow Pathfinder Society in Europe, but you have done an incredible job. I hope you're not a stranger to the campaign and the boards after stepping down, but if life takes you in other directions, I wish you well.

And If you ever want to come out of retirement, I hear there is an opening for the coveted Greenland Venture-Captain position, that is only about 3600 Kilometers from you... ;)

Given that Diego was the Denmark VC, and Greeland is within the Kingdom of Denmark, hasn't he just retired from that post?
