I have noticed that there is no information on how to become a GM. I look at all the information that there are GM levels and GM numbers. Yet I have not seen anything about how to get this information. I live in a small town that is not close to any of the major areas and so my only access to information is the web-site and the the boards. Any help would be great.

1. Get a PFS number (player and GM numbers are the same).
2. GM a session.
3. When you report the scenario, list your number as the one for the GM. Make sure you note which of your characters you would like the credit for the chronicle (assuming you are going to get credit for that session) to go to.
4. Congratulations! You are now a GM!
5. Get 149 more sessions and meet some special requirements so you can become a 5-star GM. ;)

Step 1: Get Players
Step 2: ???
Step 3: PROFIT!!!
In all seriousness, if you have players, you can purchase the scenarios in the store, run them like any other pre-published adventure, with the added bookkeeping of keeping track of Pathfinder Society numbers and reporting the games when you are finished.
Keep in mind, the scenarios are not designed to play in order; Each one has a level range it was designed for. Make sure you purchase scenarios appropriate for your group. The Wiki will help you pick appropriate options.
Good Luck, and happy gaming!

Read the Guide to Organized Play from front to back. There is information about GMing in PFSociety.

There is a online community forum for people that want to run game and play games online ... and when I get home where my search-fu is better (ok it's favorited at home) I can provide you with a link if noone else has already.
This is a link to the Pathfinder Society Myth-weavers chapter

Here's another group that has a fairly large presence. I've not played anything online with them, but I'm part of the group just in case I have time to make an online module.
