Bozeman Montana

My wife and I will probably be going to Bozeman Montana June 23rd to the 27th. This is opportunity came up suddenly (Today) and I have not had a chance to see what there is to do there. We will only be able to travel around after 5pm and we will be in the area of Montana State University. I have seen that a few people around here mentioned being from and/or having been to Montana so I want to ask what are some things to see and do in the area of Bozeman?

We will get into Yellowstone for one day. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Er, make sure you look at the sky -- they say it's Big there.

I live in Montana (Great Falls), and I love Bozeman. There's lots of cool things to do there. Here's a few!

I highly recommend the Museum of the Rockies, which is open until 8 PM daily this time of year.

If you want to check out a local game shop, look for Rook's Comics and Games, open until 10 PM most nights.

If you are a tech geek, you might want to check out the American Computer Museum, though it closes by 4 PM each day.

If you have children, consider the Children's Museum of Bozeman, open until 8 PM on Fridays (but close at 5 PM the rest of the week).

There is Full Circle Indoor Kart Racing, open until 9 or 10 PM most nights.

There are a number of good restaurants, too, from national chains to local mom-and-pop cafes.

Hope that helps!

Yes it does help. I will run these by my wife tonight.

Thank you.

@W E Ray:

I will indeed check the sky out there and let you know if they are telling the truth about it.

Have fun and enjoy yourself. It has been over 20 years since I was there and I still think that area is beautiful. If you can, go hiking in Yellowstone. The loop is a great tourist trap and should be done, but the REAL beauty is in the areas that you have to hike to. I got to spend a month in Yellowstone rebreaking a trail after the fire of 1989. It was one of the best times of my life.
