I have been doing a lot of brainstorming and coming up with ideas. At first I was thinks LotLK vs Irrisen, but then I got caught up in the lore of LotLK. So the Adventure Path I am thinking about going full force on is about going into Grungir Forest and killing Fafnheir and becoming the king of the linnorm kings! So far I have several ideas of how to go about it, but i would like to hear what the people have to say before I dive into this. Maybe I will add some stuff you guys want to see. :D

It’s long, but here is what I would do.
I would start in Losthome, everyone as children and have the town raided by Irrisen. Have a running survival battle with events happening all around them. Trolls fighting warriors, winter wolves dragging children away, and a witch surveying the damage. Have things like shooting goblins from the roof of the lodges, aiding warriors and putting out fires. The heavy fighting will ignore the children and be more a set piece. Since the players are pre-first level here I would have a level 0 supplement for the book. As the fighting continues have the children end up fighting the witch and killing her, marking them for great things.
Fast forward to modern time (Act II of part 1) Go with something with Wereguild in Kalsgard and owing Sveinn Blood-Eagle a debt. Have them ride into Grungir forest and encounter fey. Find what they are after and then end up on the far side of the forest in Southmoor.
In Southmoor, they will get mixed up in a plot to assassinate Opir by thanes who do not believe he is fit to rule. By the end, mistaken as the assassins themselves they are chased out of Southmoor and into Broken Bay.
Have them sign on as raiders and sail south to raid through the arch of Aroden. This gives them random encounters and set pieces throughout the inner sea, earning wealth, fame and experience. Have this take up to several years.
While docked in Taldor have them recruited by the Ulfen Guard and begin serving the Emperors will. This should turn into a Qadiran plot that kills most of the Ulfen Guard, and kidnapping the Emperor of Taldor. Have the group chase down the agents and rescue the Emperor, it should involve a dragon. Then they will spend the rest of their term(1 Year) being his personal guards ending the ark with looting the treasury.
Sailing home they return to Halgrim and are immediately arrested by White Estrids thanes. They were tried and found guilty of trying to assassinate Opir and are to be executed for it. Protesting their innocence, they are allowed to plead their case before White Estrid and convince her. Declaring that they will be given the chance of Trial by Quest and be given a chance to clear their names. They are sent to Orthost(thinking this is the right place) where they must confront the dead and cannibal Ulfen leading them to a lost hold of Linnorm King Ulvass.
In the Hold they will find a lost Thassolian gate that will respond to being opened with seven gems located throughout the hold. The seven gems are marked with the runes of sin and are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. Acquiring these keys opens up the gate to Arcadia and Valenhall.
In Valenhall they are taken to the Hall of kings and there they have used flesh to stone to preserve the Linnorm Kings of the Past, and use Speak with Stone to communicate with them and seek advice. The kings upon learning that the Rainbow Bridge has been opened, quest the Players with finding the fate of the First King, so that he may join his brothers in Valenhall. Each player is granted a winged steed (Pegasus) of the Wind Sisters and sent home.
Returning to Halgrim they are cleared of charges by White Estrid and ask them to delay the request of the old kings. Winter has come and Baba Yaga has returned.
The war with Irrisen takes a strange twist as Queen Elvanna has no plans to go quietly with her mother and with the brooch of Kostchtchie begins carving out her own kingdom in the eastern Linnorm King lands.
The Players would relieve Trollhelm and break the siege from Queen Elvanna forces.
Once there the fight will awaken a Linnorm that in its rage attacks both sides. Players would fight it and slay it. Saving Trollhelm and the slayer will become the Linnorm King. Players would only then find out that the siege was a diversion to lure Ulfen away from Elvanna’s true goal of attacking Grungir forest and slaying Fafnheir herself. Her plan to become the Overking of the Linnorm Kings and have her own nation.
The players then must rush into Grungir, treat with the denizen of the first world, meet up with the other Linnorm Kings War parties, and combined drive into Fafnheir’s Lair. Fighting through, they would become separated from the other Linnorm Kings. Then they will find the final stand of Saebjorn Arm-Fang. Arm-Fang’s ghost grants them boons of his gear and the best method of defeating Fafnheir with a song that puts him to sleep, one he never got to complet in his fight with the Linnorm.
With the song passed on his spirit is released and the plays must find him. They soon find Elvanna fighting with Fafnheir. They are forced to aid Fafnheir and defeat her ensuring that she will not slay him. Fafnheir would then turn on the players forcing them to confront him.
Slaying Fafnheir crowns the new Overking, but curses everyone, however the players could make perform checks, each round as they fight (Ulfen war singing) and place Fafnheir in a deep sleep when they make enough perform checks to equal his hit points, returning the Linnorm to his rest. Either way the other Linnorm kings will witness the feat and declare the Linnorm King among the players Overking and the others Linnorm Kings in their own right. Sveinn will take the bones of Arm-Fang to Arcadia through the rainbow bridge and with the New Linnorm King Baba Yaga will place a new daughter in charge of Irrisen and wait till next time to conclude the conquest of the Ulfen.
