I got two copies of the jousting event, levels 1-3 and 4-6. Unfortunately the level 1-3 conflicts with the grand convocation which I would REALLY like to go to. I've posted a trade for it but at this point there are still 34 open spots.
Can I just drop an event?
You can drop an event by starting event signup and simply unchecking it.
I've tried to drop the Jousting 7-9 event on Saturday afternoon several times by unchecking it and saving changes, but it still appears in my schedule and won't let me sign up for anything else.

I briefly had this problem as well, or a similar enough one. As Ross said above (and, for me, in another thread), it seems to have been fixed. I traded someone for the game they wanted (so it would go to someone deserving) and the dropped the slot I didn't want.

I've had the same problem. I signed up for two events that conflicted, and now I can't sign up for either of them despite the system having supposedly unsubscribed me from both.
