Do Undine in general prefer to live upon land or underwater?

Greetings everyone.

I am curious on the Undine and what their prefered living habitations would be considering being water touched and all. I can see many would prefer life under the sea but what of ones raised upon land from birth? Would they be happy to live their lives under the light of the sun or would they deep down desire to live their lives under the ocean's depths due to their aquatic natures?

I think that an Undine would like to live under the sea.
Life is much better down where it's wetter. Under the sea.
