I used to love this show as a kid. Can't wait to see it tonight.

Crap! I forgot to set it on DVR last night. What's the buzz from the pilot episode for anyone now having seen it?

I thought it was great. Hearing the song play when the opening credits rolled was great! They ran the first two episodes back to back, so they were able to stick some good developments in early. JR is as cunning as ever. The younger generatios is really good as well, and I think they will be able to carry the show eventually, although it is probably too early to come to that conclusion in a definitive manner right now.

Spoiler:

This isn't much of a spoiler, but I really like the renewable energy versus oil development plot they have going on. It is very relevant to todays world, and I believe they are going to handle it with an even hand. I am in favour of greener tech, although I don't think it is practical to get rid of oil right now, but when the green tech has its problems near the end of the first episode I thought maybe they are just going to slam green tech the entire show, but near the end of the second episode they breath some life back into it.

Liberty's Edge

They have to make one episode a dream, just for old times sake.

Thanks! I'll have to check to see if there's going to be any replays before the 3rd episode. Now I am curious.

Liberty's Edge

This show is rivoting. Larry Hagman is absolutely CRUSHING it.

I agree. When he speaks for the first time in his chair I was blown away. And his comments about people who use the law was wonderfully delivered.
