Hey Gamers,
I know that I don't post often, but some help would be really nice. So, as a young man, 13-15, I remember there being a chart in a book for random family generation. It was something like
xx-xx mom and dad married
xx-xx Single mother/ father deceased
xx-xx Single Father/mother deceased
xx-xx Parents seperated but 1-10 kids or something like that.
That isn't exactly how is was, but close. I've been bugging my uncle for 2 years to remember where is was, he can't. I've bought first and second edition books, thinking it was in there, it isn't. Now, I do know that there is something close to OA1, first edition book. However, that's not the one I'm looking for.
From what I remember, it was section in a book with about 4 or 5 tables for random generation. Having everything from Station/Class of family, how many children (even broke down into males vs girls), and some other things that are fuzzy to my memory now.
I'd TRULY be grateful if anyone can list the name of the book. Or maybe even /nudge nudge writers of pathfinder add it to a book soon! Sorry for such a long post and again, THANKS for anyone who may point me in the correct direction.

There was one in the Unearthed Arcana on page 82-83. It provides Social Class (examples of that type of SC); number of siblings and your place in the birth 'line', if your parents are married legally or not.
To the OP: if that's all you need I can copy the text from the book for you. As for the more detailed one I mentioned earlier i'm unable to find my copy of it but i've asked my dad for a copy of his. So I should probably have that in a few days.

The first edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay had a pad of character sheets that also included a booklet that included this and lots of other background detail generation. Mekton II has the same sort of thing in the main rulebook. I have both somewhere and wanted this last week but unfortunately can't find either of them:-(
