Extra "Magic" Feats for a Wizard, just like "combat" Feats for a Fighter

was just looking for feed back on this idea it would work just like the combat feats do for fighters (being the "best all round warriors").

I don't think Wizards need anymore than they already have (and to be honest I don't think they even need those). Casters really don't need many feats to begin with, so they can easily pick up whatever they need as they go, as opposed to fighters who need a feat for everything they do.

Wizards have spells for that. The fighter gets varied feats, powerful feats and quantity of feats. The wizard gets varied, powerful and numerous spells instead.
Anyway, why should the wizard be best at magic? The other full arcane casters have no reason to be any more limited over all.

All that aside, you might want to look at the wizard class again. They already get bonus magic feats and they're already regarded as the best all-round caster, with or without them.

They already DO get bonus feats... every 5 levels. They're already uber characters.... they don't need a power boost.

They already have these, and do NOT need the feats to "make up the difference," since any gain on their behalf will be leaving other classes behind at this point already.
