Most Bang for my Buck

Hi guys.

I am playing a PFS game tomorrow. Using some GM credit I believe my PC is now level 9 to 10.

With roughly 32,000 gp in hand and 50 prestidge/fame backing me up, what is the most useful/potent/fun fire arm I can get for my Alchemist, as a secondary weapon that's still 'legal' for PFS play?

I am running her as a Jame's Bondian Villainess of sorts.

Well, if you do not have the Gunsmithing feat, you cannot have a firearm at all in PFS play.

Grand Lodge 4/5

+1 Holy, Reliable Double Barrel Pistol (33,750)

"Dead Priest Finger"
This sanctified silver pistol was crafted from silver holy symbols of Aroden looted from hallowed graves in the catacombs beneath Oppara.

Grand Lodge 4/5

+1 Human Bane, Seeking, Corrosive Double Barrel Pistol (33,750)

"Vivisectionist's Pleasure"
This repulsive black steel handgun was commissioned by Drow forces. When firing, the muzzle flares with an eldritch green light. Rounds fired burn through human opponents without mercy, and cause infection and horrific scarring.

Grand Lodge 4/5

+1 Speed Double Barrel Pistol (33,750)

"Torag's Stonethrower"
This enormous brass pistol can break the wrist of the wielder through it's recoil alone. The weapon's speed in firing off shots cannot be matched.

The only thing restricting your access to guns is your fame and just how much money you have. Then your only restriction to shoot it is of course your weapon proficiency.

Though if you have all that money I would suggest investing in some gear first, such as stat boosting and defensive, then work on seeing if you can get a sweet gun.

Take a look at the Additional Resources page for PFS. It does in fact say that you can't buy firearms without the Gunsmithing feat.

Additional Resources

Quote:
Gunsmithing does not grant the ability to craft firearms, ammunition, or black powder. Rather, it allows the purchase of bullets, pellets, black powder, and alchemical cartridges (with 1 rank in Craft [alchemy]) at the listed reduced price, but does not grant a discount on the purchase of any firearm. Resold items gained through this feat are worth half the actual cost paid, not half the regular market value for the item. No PC can purchase a gun without this feat, even if they possess the Amateur Gunslinger or Exotic Weapon Proficiency (firearm) feats.

The bolding is mine, the quote is direct from the Additional Resources page.

Thanks for citation. I must have missed that, I did only play a gunslinger in society for 1 mod and was very unimpressed.

My suggestion for spending your money still stands though.
