I'm creating a new campaign based on Golarion, and for undisclosed reasons I need a set of 9 weapons, one for each alignment. I'm totally out of ideas for it, and somewhat in a hurry (campaign starts next month). So, I'm here begging you suggestions.
Some info:
- Lesser artifact level of power, bonus points if secret power unlocks at specific conditions;
- NEED to be inteligent;
- Law/Good, Law/Evil, Chaos/Good, Chaos/Evil are standard;
- Pure Good, Pure Evil, Pure Chaos, Pure Order are stronger. Powers reflecting it, as well as bigger Ego;
- Pure Neutral is weaker than standard, but has power over the other 8;
- NEED to be intelligent;
- Law/Good has to be a lance;
- It's ok to have some background in Golarion history, but no unique pre-existent weapons. They were created as a set.
Let the creativity work...
Ps: Sorry for the bad english...

oky.... I only have one on hand......
Fang of the Bear
+4 holy adamantine scimitar of life stealing
alignment: CN borderline CG; treated as good aligned for bypassing dr.
lesser artifact abilties: Scimitar allows wielder to dual wield another scimitar or a curved edge blade in off hand as if wielder has twf and twd.
Fang of the Bear: is a sentient lesser artifact, forged long ago for a long dead or forgotten deity of war or assassins. Lusting for battle Fang of the bear was rumored to posses its wielder and sned them into battle until one of its wielders learns of the blade and has it enchanted with the holy enchantment to prevent the blade from ever doing so again. PArtially succeding, the scimitar's personality is now more lusty and will likely tell you to go into battle naked or posses the wielder into an embarassing moment over possessing its wielder raging into battle against a foe they cant win.
Fang of the Bear will not allow anyone to wield it with a cha under 12 or it deams unworthy.

Really nice, specially for comic relief ("Wow, that steak is really... FU**ING GOOD!!! BRING ME MOAR OR I WILL EAT YER GUTS OFF!! DAMN IT, AM EATING YER GUTS NOWWW!!!!!!"). But I wished for something more chaotic'n'neutr-y, as the weapons were forged from the essence of it's alignment. Maybe bringing the beast inside out (and letting the user rage as a barbarian while at it?).

you could if you want. it could easily be done to drop two weapon fighting and two weapon defense for barbarian's rage or a leave twf and twd and add a chance in the heat of battle have the wielder suffer a rage effect failing a will throw.
on the otherhand holy could be dropped for anarchaic and make the blade straight up CN since its your campaign.

I've got one:
Liberty Bringer
+5 Holy Anarchic Adamantine Rapier (+Special)
Aura: Strong (All schools), CL: 20th+
Alignments: CG Ego: 40
Abilities: Int 14 Wis 12 Cha 20 Languages: Common, Celestial, Draconic,
Skills: Bluff +15, Diplomacy +10, Knowledge (History) +7, Knowledge (Local) +7, Knowledge (Religion) +12, Perception +6, Perform (Oration)+15 , Sense Motive +6,
Senses and Communications: Telepathy, 120 ft senses, Darkvision, Reads Languages,
Special Purpose: Free all slaves and others kept imprisoned unfairly.
Powers: Can cast Freedom of Movement at will, and detect slavers, tyrants, or others who keep people imprisoned unfairly within 60 ft.
Special: In addition to it's other properties, this weapon may be either Agile or Keen at it's owner's option, though only one of the two at an one time. Whenever Liberty Bringer uses it's Freedom of Movement spell it may effect anyone or everyone that Liberty Bringer can cutrrently detect.
Price: More than you can posibly afford.
Destruction: The sword must be bound in adamantine chains and then, without being freed (hard, due to it's Freedom of Movement), broken down and reforged into an implement of bondage, which must then be used to imprison a truly innocent soul.
Rumored to be the personal weapon of Cayden Cailean prior to his ascension to Godhood, and perhaps having gained some measure of it's former owner's power or divinity (it may even have gone through the test with him...it certainly claims so), Liberty Bringer is a fun companion to have along, likable, charming, and encouraging of having a good time...as long as you don't mind fullfilling it's purpose of bringing liberty to all. It's also a highly skilled sdtoryteller, and will regale people with tales of it's exploits for hours on end. Unfortunately, it's also a nearly compulsive liar, and the truth of these tales is extraordianrily debatable.
Liberty Bringer is a friendly sort won't even use it's truly excessive Ego to make it's bearer follow it's purpose except in a true emergency (being a believer in freedom, after all), and is very understanding about deception and putting off short term goals for the greater good. But it will eventually use it's Ego to make it's bearer give it to someone more amenable to it's quest if they keep putting things of.
Note: Since it's part of a set, it's lying about everything in terms of it's origin. It does that.

My suggestion is that they be keyed into the story of the chaining of Rovagug which all the gods participated in, save of course Rovagug and those who didn't exist at the dawn of time. Have the lance be from Erastil and styled to look like one of his antler points. Make them all of Azlant craftsmanship, relics of that lost land, or maybe Thasilonian, and say they were made for the champions of each god.
The Neutral one is an amulet with the spiral of Pharasma. It's appears to be an old amulet, classic in its appearance, like a thousand other old holy symbols of the goddess which were, in fact, made in its image. I'd make it out of faintly greenish fossil ivory scrimshawed with Pharasma's spiral. It's something everyone would overlook because it's so common compared to the beauty and ostentation of the other eight artifacts.
For example, the LN should be a golden key for Abadar, blinged out with every jewel possible. Equally ostentatious is the CN dagger of Calistria, which would be a dagger of venom with the blade in the shape of the wasp's torso and sting, the guard in the form of its wings, and the hilt in the shape of the head with the jeweled eyes being the pommelstone. Give it the dancing property for extra fun so it can fly around stabbing people with venom.
And so on. Look through the gods, pick out 9 in keeping with the legend and what you want--NG should be Sarenrae while LE should be Asmodeus--and make the items.

@Deadmanwalking That's really great. Pretty much complete this one. Just some tweaking there and here. And this ego 40, it come from it's abilities? Pretty damn high.
@Kevin Hmm... something to think... Should read about Rovagug prison, to see if it fit in my campaign. It will run maybe until 20. If the weapons were made about it, you think who should be the BBEG?
Keep going =D

LG: Lance- Compels user to attack any evil creature until dead. Charge at +10 land speed
NG: Shield- Compels user to deliver no lethal damage, protect the meek. Activate 10 ft. radius shield of force around you as a standard action. shield is a returning weapon that can be thrown for d4 base damage.
CG: Sword- compels user to release captives regardless of their guilt. cast freedom of movement at will
LN: Quarterstaff- Compels user to follow the laws of the land to the letter. Gain an extra attack at highest bonus on even standard attacks Staff extends to give +5 acrobatics bonus. +10 land speed. stun on a critical hit.
N: Bow- Compels user to attack a different opponent each turn. Arrows fired in the air point toward the next nearest artifact weapon.
CN: Changing Weapon- Compels user to change fighting styles every round. Weapon can be changed to any form as a free action. ammunition must be provided. user can rage as a barbarian for their level in rounds/day. Barbarians double their bonuses while raging.
LE: Scythe- Compels user to deliver coup-de-grace on any opponent possible. improved critical, vorpal,
NE: Dagger- Compels user to steal and lie at every opportunity, invisibility 3/day, +3d6 sneak attack.
CE: Whip- Compels user to torture opponents rather than deliver any coup-de-grace, opponents automatically entangled on critical, always deals lethal damage.
All weapons are holy/unholy/anarchic/axiomatic as appropriate.
This is, obviously, not a complete construction, but it should spark some creativity.

Yeah, it's got 38 just from the stuff it's got that's in the actual Intelligent Items section. I figured that the area Freedom of Movement and being an Artifact was another +2. And it's less bad than it could be simply because it's so into freedom. :-)
@Tuboo: Freeing people regardless of guilt isn't CG it's CN. And I really disagree on the evil stuff, too. CE should be a Greataxe or other huge, terrible, weapon and be all about rampant destruction. Torture's more a NE or even LE thing, generally.
