Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Silver Crusade

Does anyone else have a hard time not imagining him as Charles Atlas from those old bodybuilder ads from comics in the 50's. Or by proxy as Flex Mentallo?

Is anyone having a hard time seeing him as that now?

Seriously though, how do you see him as far as personality and image? He's one of those minor deities that seems like he'd get a lot of love from folks in-setting, but we know very little about him so far.

I have a hard time not imagining him in a toga. He's very Hercules-inspired in my head (though a much nicer guy than that particular mythological figure), with dark hair and a big bushy beard, but relatively little body hair aside from that. I see him as a big, friendly, guy who's very concerned with helping people and general niceness, while also really liking the thrill of competition. He seems like he'd be a pretty cool guy to hang out with.

I find the speculation that he's the half-mortal kid of Desna and Cayden Cailean hilarious, and may have it be true if it ever comes up in my game (a very unlikely event).

Kurgess? (3rd picture).

I always pictured him as a ginger and maybe with the voice actor of The Strong Arm Alchemist.

I always pictured him with more of a wild-man look: long hair, beard, burly and hairy-chested. I rarely envision modern body-builders when thinking about high strength characters in fantasy settings, more like the guys you see in the World's Strongest Man competitions.
