Drow religion?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

I know I probably saw it somewhere and just cannot find it..
So, being that Pathfinder has no Lolth for the Drow to fawn over, who do they revere? And what's the spider connection for them now?

Shadow Lodge

In Golarion, they worship a whole slew of powerful demons, and there is no spider connection anymore.

I'd suggest looking them up on the Pathfinder Wiki (www.pathfinderwiki.com) for more info :)

Golarion drows worship demon lords. I don't know if they have spider connection beyond those drows that actually worship spidery demon lords.

Well, there are still Driders, but they're a symptom of Drow's fleshwarping powers rather than any real connection to or veneration of spiders. Becoming one is a punishment, after all.

Vermin in general (including spiders), as well as fungi, are typical Drow pets (when they have such things) simply because of the nature of their environment, so them having pet spiders isn't unlikely, but it's not a religious thing, and scorpions, oozes, giant worms, or bizarre man-eating fungi are equally likely.

When I looked on demon lord list on wiki I noticed scorpion-related demon lord but no spidery one. Hmm, weren't there a scorpionic equivalent of drider somehwere in Eberron books?

Dark Archive

One of the dozen or so demon lords worshipped by entire houses of Drow is Mazmezz who seems fairly 'Lolth-y.'

Other demon lords that the Drow worship;

Abraxas
Shax
Jubilex
Areshkagal
Andirifkhu
Zura
Nocticula
Flauros
Cyth-V'sug
Haagenti
Socothbenoth

Thanks, everybody. After you pointed me in the right direction it's cleared my befuddlement. And yeah Set, Mazmezz is that spider connection I was looking for. I had to wonder about it because is they were just fleshwarpers for fleshwarpers sake, we'd see a lot more variants, and driders would be as big a deal...hence my confusion.
I really do like how they've got the "demon for every house" thing going on. Different Drow House flavors...awesome

Indeed. With Mazmezz, you can have 'Lolth-y' Drow, but with Flauros, you can have Drow who wear thickly-forged armor and burning weapons, who are associated with fire, and with Haagenti, an entire house devoted to the study of Alchemy. Fun stuff.

Mazmezz was my Lolth replacement when I ran "The Harrowing" at PaizoCon 2010.
