Year and Season

Kingmaker

Do any of the modules give the year in which this takes place or the month/day/season? I'd like to know, so I can manage a timeline and accurately describe the weather patterns. I did a search on these forums, and it appears many people just arbitrarily decided on a Golarion date.

Well, it's been a decade since the Rogarvia disappeared in 4699 -- but "decade" is one of those mushy terms.

Stolen Lands was released in March 2010, and the charter mentions Calistril ... Golaria's February. Technically it should start in 4710. but 4711 or '12, or any other date you like should work just fine. Especially since the AP isn't on a rigid time line path -- many groups cover multiple years during the AP.

Unless a GM is trying to tie the events in Kingmaker to other things going on in Golarion/other APs, standard convention seems to be to use the year of release as the year in Golarion. So 2010 = 4710 A.R. Most GMs I know that are running or have run this AP start in the spring.

OK, thank you.

Ditto!
