Settlement Modifiers and Day Job Rolls

Pathfinder Society

Hello,
I searched quite extensively and couldn't find an answer to this, so please forgive me if it's already been answered.

The "Economy" settlement modifier says "it applies as a modifier on all Craft, Perform, and Profession checks made to generate income."

And, from the PFS Organized Play guide, it says about Day Jobs, "During these times, you can attempt a trained Craft, Perform, or Profession check to see how much extra money you earn—this is called a Day Job check."

So, do you apply the "Economy" settlement modifier to your Day Job rolls?

For example, in the Pathfinder Society Field Guide, it lists Absalom's "Economy" settlement modifier as +7. If my character is based out of Absalom (which I imagine most Pathfinder Society members would be), would I add a +7 to my Day Job roll?

Please advise.

Thanks!

No, city statblocks do not influence Day Jobs. Since Day Jobs take place in the undefined time between scenarios, in which the PCs can reasonably be anywhere due to the lack of time constraints, only constant bonuses inherent to the character itself affect Day Job checks.

This brings up an interesting question then. Do these city stat block bonuses affect other rolls when you are in the city? For example, I believe that various city stats like Corruption, Crime, Law, Lore, and Society affect various circumstantial rolls like Diplomacy, Bluff, Sleight of Hand, Stealth, and Sense Motive. If adventuring in Absalom, as a GM, should we be figuring (or allowing our players to figure) these modifiers during a scenario? Or are these modifiers assumed to be incorporated into the Scenario difficulties when a DC is listed?

Aren't those modifiers from the Gamemastery Guide? Which would make them unusable for PFS but ok for a home game based around the Pathfinder Society.
