Due to the heavy amount of investigation involved in CC, would Lorefinder be a good fit?
My players are about halfway through Haunting and have gotten frustrated with missing or not having the skills needed to get all the information needed. Luckily most of it has led to good roleplay, but I see aggravation on their faces more than enjoyment.
I don't want the players to get so frustrated they end up just hacking their way through the plot, and since I recently picked up Lorefinder I thought it might be helpful.
Any thoughts?

I don't know anything about Lorefinder (I assume you mean this -- http://paizo.com/products/btpy8pf3?Lorefinder), but it looks like it could be an interesting addition to a CC campaign. The path does appear to continue to be investigation-heavy, although it also is very combat heavy, so you wouldn't want the Lorefinding to detract from a combat-ready character design. What specific aspects of Lorefinder were you thinking about bringing into CC?
In the HH, you can definitely use Kendra, Councilmember Muricar, and Grimburrow to help out the players in their investigations. It doesn't make any sense to me that those three would sit around and let the PCs do all the research, when all three of those NPCs are research-oriented and capable. In my campaign, Kendra does research all day every day while the PCs are in the prison. Only makes sense to me that she would want to help out in that way. I suspect there will be NPCs you can use to feed info to the the PCs throughout most of the AP. My players never seem to think I'm helping them out too much when I give info through NPCs.

I don't know if this was mentioned in the module or not, but if your PC's skills are a little lacking for research, how about allowing them to use the Aid Another action? Have the PC with the highest bonus actually make the roll, and have the others aid them. The whole group poring over tomes and records researching together could be some fun rp.
