Undead Lairs

In one or two sentences, describe an undead monster/Aberration/Critter from 3E/3.5R/Pathfinder and its lair.

Hmmmm, an aquatic-derived lich, cover in kelp, starfish, and sea urchins residing inside a watertight shipwreck protected by his aggressive white shark familiar.....

Grand Lodge

Anti-paladin lich, whose phylactery is the desecrated altar in the ruins of his childhood temple.

Don't you mean death knight or skeleton warrior?

Grand Lodge

Nope. The players will think him a death knight, and be very confused when he keeps coming back after them, until they fight him the final time in the temple ruins.

Evil, man, evil.

Grand Lodge

Glad you like it. :3

In the mountains there are many caves filled with undead. Rumor is a legendary necromancer put them to protect their treasures.
Truth is, the only treasures are a number Permanent Fell Animate or Fell Drain Spiritwalls concealed as part of traps; people seeking treasure in the caves end turned into Zombies (Fell Animate spells) or Wight (Fell Drain spells), and of course, the wights go outside in search of prey and create more wights. The system ensures the undead plage never truly ends and attracts the attention of adventurers away from the true lair of the Big Bad.

Massive XP for dismantling all the traps, but you call the attention of the Big Bad.
