Selling items

Pathfinder Society

I'm looking through the Guide to Organized Play and I don't see any rules about selling items between scenarios. For example, after getting a couple hundred gp from adventuring, you want to upgrade from Leather Armor to a Chain Shirt. It doesn't make sense that you would need to throw that old Leather Armor in the closet, or burn it or give it away (to a non-pc). But I see no formula for how much it's worth in resale.

The Exchange 4/5

You sell your items for half their original value. If you look at the chronicle sheets, they have a space where you write what your selling and its original value, total it all up, and divide by 2 and add it to your gp to spend.

Grand Lodge 2/5 RPG Superstar 2015 Top 32, RPG Superstar 2012 Top 32

I can't give you a page reference from here, but you can sell unwanted items for half price. (Unless they were acquired by spending Prestige points, in which case they're worth 0gp and cannot be sold.)

Ah, I do see it now.

Thanks, Leftenant Joe.

Does this rule include selling Masterwork and Magic Items also?

1/5

Of course. Selling for half-price applies to ALL items.

**please note that if you are upgrading an item (MW weapon to +1, +2 belt to +4 belt, etc) you do not sell for half, you just pay the difference**
