That's pretty sweet! What did you use for the buildings? Also, what color did you use to paint your goblins?
Thanks!
The goblin warchanter was base coated with the reaper olive green, washed with walnut brown, and drybrushed with a lighter shade of the olive green. The goblin commando was based with a lightened "wizard blue" from the Coat D'arms line, washed with a very dark blue (almost black) and then dry brushed with a very light blue (almost white).
Three of the buildings come from Miniature Building Authority. The other three one-story buildings were made with the dwarven forge medieval building line (just one set) with custom made roofs made by me using the hirst arts wood shingle room mold.

Thanks for the response! I just ordered the commando, war chanter, the pyros, and the "regular" goblins and am leaning towards painting them the blue-ish color. I'm thinking of doing them light blue with a light grey dry-brush to take off some of the edge.
On a side note, what method do you use to apply the wash? I've never washed anything I've ever painted (I primarily paint historical miniatures), but am considering starting, though I'm a bit leery about the whole process.
Thanks again!

For the wash I use 1 part paint, 3 parts water, 3 parts matte medium. I usually use a much darker color than my base coat but if I am in a hurry I will just use black or very dark brown. Then I just dip my brush in the watery mixture and apply it liberally to the mini. If it pools or bubbles I will soak it back up with my brush.

Great looking battle! I so wish I could afford more of the Dwarven Forge stuff for my games (as it is totally awesome for games).
Yeah I did it slowly. I had to tutor for extra cash every time I wanted to buy some sets. There are still about $500 worth of DF I want. I look at it like this - this is my hobby. If I played golf fanatically I would have a very expensive set of clubs. Also, for me at least there is a max limit to how much DF I want. I just want to be able to build a variety of dungeons to use during an evenings game. I am not interested in building a 6 table dungeon that takes my players a year to work through. Once you have the basic sets (Classic sets, Medieval Sets, Cavern Sets) then you really just have to worry about catching limited edition sets. To be honest I only have the Den of Evil limited set because I am not that interested in the rest of them (though I have been considering the woodland set).
Don't rule out Ebay! You can grab the old bow tie sets for around $50-75.
