If Ron Paul is elected President of the United States he would be given the title of Mr. President. Because he already has the title of Doctor, would it be a more appropriate sign of respect to call him Dr. President or Mr. President? Or does the title of Doctor override the title of Mr. President?

I believe the nomenclature would still be Mr. President. Not that Dr. Paul has a snowballs chance right now.

This is not to state anything bad about Dr. Paul merely that I do not believe he is going to get elected.

It's a shame. I don't really like any of the potential candidates, but I think Ron Paul would do the least amount of damage, and may even fix a few things.

Yeah, politics aside, we were just trying to figure out if he would be referred to as Dr. President Ron Paul, Mr. President Dr. Ron Paul, or if Mr. President completely bumped doctor to the side and he would be Mr. President Ron Paul.

...

Dr. Mr. President...

DM President...

You just won America.

If Ron Paul DMed America would he use random encounter charts?

Sovereign Court

I'd just be concerned of the CR level of the encounters he would throw at us.

Of course that's a concern for whoever gets elected, but the other candidates wouldn't be DM, now would they? ;)

Sovereign Court

If Ron Paul DMs America, does that mean that I can finally drop my commoner class and gain a PC class?

Which edition or game do you think he would choose to run?

What's the EL of a recession?

Liberty's Edge

I'm thinking that a Recession is about the same level as Lamashtu, so 35?

Dr. McNinja manages, President Paul would too.

Silver Crusade

Trivia of the day.

The only president to have had a doctoral degree was Woodrow Wilson, who held a PhD in History. He was never referred to as "Dr. President".

In terms of etiquette, "Mr. President" is a higher title than "Dr." and you are supposed to use the highest relevant title.

I propose that if elected, he should go by Dr. Mr. The President.

However, he must immediately swear to never wear Dr. Mrs. The Monarch's costume.

Zombie J. Edgar Hoover has his eye on the costume and the F-me pumps.
