I was just reading through the Gunslinger Lirianne's background and was thinking of trying her character out for fun. However being the magic lover that I am I want to give her some sorcerer levels in addition to gunslinger but need a reason to explain how she got her recently founded powers.
I read up the elemental bloodline and it states that it can also come from being exposed to a powerful elemental force so prehaps she could have gained her magic from when she was struck by the arcane lightning during the primal magic storm? Would that work?
It certainly fits the background. Have you considered Stormborn instead?
Or, you might go with the Spellslinger archetype on page 74-75 of Ultimate Combat. :)
Except you have to figure out how she not only got a spellbook, but also learned to fire spells through her gun.

Definately an idea but I was thinking the primal bloodline from Ultimate magic would fit best now that I read into it. Her element would have to be air obviously.
