As the Archon speaks and Knutr shouts back, Cato opens a vox link to the others.
Do not bother, ignore them. Let us take this time to set up as a team. I tried to lead us in the last challenge, but I am clearly not ready yet. I suggest Vorenthar leads us this day and we swear an oath to each other, for we must work together to punish this enemy."

As they enter the arena, Cato stands ready, briefly glancing around for a weapon. Seeing Tiamat pick up a Lascannon, he runs tactics in his head. "Might I suggest we form a defensive ring around Tiamat, we can keep the beasts off him so that he can punish them with his heavy weapon, whilst it's ammo lasts and then I am sure he will be only too happy to join us in crushing skulls."

Not sure if we can have an Oath or leader yet, but putting the RP in place.
Ok so looking for a melee weapon of some kind, preferably a chainsword. I am not perceptive, so here goes nothing!

Knutr responds to Cato.

-That is a good tactic, but we can twist it a bit. Let us not stay all together in a small ground. We can cover a wider area, and then let them less room to manoeuvre (yes, I used that spelling :P). If I stay here, as the point of the formation, I can charge their best ranged and neutralise it.

Turning his head he gave a brief nod towards Cato to acknowledge his words, once done he turned towards his battle brothers. Knowing there was still time he spoke out. "Brothers, on a knee..." He knew that they would listen, once they were all on one knee he spoke once more. "Brothers, Where there is uncertainty, I shall bring light. Where there is doubt, I shall sow faith. Where there is shame, I shall point atonement, Where there is rage, I shall show its course. My word in the soul shall be as my bolter in the field." Letting the words sink in he regarded each and everyone once more. "Even though we are all from a different chapter I trust you with my live and together we will show this Xenos scum what it means to mess with an Astartes. Prepare your souls for the horrors they will throw at us, steel your arm and have the Emperor guide it and strike true! This is our moment! WE FIGHT AND WE FIGHT HARD! NO QUARTER GIVEN... FOR THE EMPEROR!!!"

And with that said he stood up and regarded the arena. "Form a circle around Vaylund, his Las Cannon will be the point of attack, those with other ranged weapons stand next to him, I will be the point of attack and lead the charge, let us see what they trow at us! FOR THE EMPEROR!"

With that he raised the las pistol and got ready for whatever the eldar were going to throw at them.

I am using the words to bind the group together and form a bit of cohesion.

@Cato your helmet would give no bonus to senses you are correct, the other bonuses are for a full suit. It is not sealed either. You are able to find a Chainsword thanks to Brother Vaylund. @Brother Feliks you are extremely lucky and find a relic blade of old (use deathwatch relic blade stats) thanks to Brother Vaylund.

Round 11d10 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18 After everyone gathers an item and positions themselves, from the sky above, a gang of hellions comes screaming down to the arena on their skyboards wielding electro-snare nets and double weapons

Brother Cato:
Your Tactics tell you that your best defense will be to stick together back to back. Think the movie gladiator when they fight the chariots If you do so all Arm/Leg attacks are counted as body and the enemy will not gain a gang-up or higher ground bonus against you so long as someone is to your back.

Regarding the weapons his brothers found he nodded in approval. They were well fitted for close combat now. When the screeching sound of the Hellions showed up he looked up and let his eyes go over them to see if one of them would stand out as a leader or if they were all just regular foot soldiers. Standing tall the black templar was calculating and taking in the sight. "Form up close, take aim for the hooverboards if possible to take away their advantage if possible.. Brothers Knutr and Feliks, hold your ground for now, I know the wolf wants to hunt but right now, the pack is stronger together... Brother Tiamat, if you have any knowledge of the devices and how to take them out quickly, share with us... Brother Vaylund, even tho I am not a fan of the witchcraft, it might give us the edge over this xenos scum, use defensive wise and see if you can give us any advantage and funnel them into our range..." He then turned his head towards the 5 hellions and shook his head. "Be wary, I doubt this is going to be all they will be sending at us, they want us dead hear... Let us show them the error in their ways!"

Once done, he raises the mighty blade in a two handed grip and steps into his place in the ring of Astartes, guarding his Brothers' backs as surely as they guard his, "Finally we get to sink our teeth into our true foes. No shame in slaughtering them with their own cursed devices. We shall not die this day. By any means necessary, we FIGHT! he yells, revealing more emotion than usual in his voice and a surprising disposition towards xenotech.

He grips his axe in two hands and readies himself mentally, focusing his anger and blood last, trying to position himself in front towards them, The storm might make it more difficult to see and hit us, forcing them closer, rotate to keep me between them and us for as long as possible.

Lastly as he sees his brothers scramble and search he offers up his own weapon to any brother without. If you do not find a weapon, take my axe, I will not be defenseless.

Would love to take some swings with it, but Vaylund can use his flame attack, afterwards you can give it back ;) or not.

"Brothers, this is good, let them waste themselves against the armour that has been returned to us. However if we pull even tighter, so that our back is always against that of a brother we will protect our weaker armour and they cannot outnumber us. They may land more shots, but only against our thicker armour. When they get careless and get too close, we can swarm one. If on Vorenthar's command, you throw that grenade Knutr. At the same time you throw that dust storm at the others Vaylund and this of us with combat weapons can swarm the doomed xenos. One by one they will fall."
