PFS Messageboard Alias

I have an alias on the messageboards that I'm currently using to play in a Society Play-By-Post (Jiece Dragonius of GM Xzaral's First Steps). This was my first time playing anything Society related and created the alias under the standard messageboard alias section as opposed to registering him as a new character on My Society account. Is there any way to transfer him over to my Society account (since I can't delete the alias or change the name) or would I just register a new one with a similar name and let the GM know that's where the credit will go?

How do I proceed with this is what I'm asking, I guess?

Trying to convert a messageboard alias to a PFS character would probably cause some unnecessary work. I think the following would be the easiest way:

Go to My Pathfinder Society and click the 'Register a new character link'.

Create a character called 'The Severed Ronin', or something similar.

Give the number that you're assigned (something like XXXXX-2) to your GM.

Roger that. I figured that would be the best and most effective way of doing it. I realize the unnecessary work of the conversion process which is why I was attempting to avoid that.

You're welcome. Sorry if my message sounded patronising; re-reading it, it shows that I've been dealing with a number of new PFS players this week!

That isn't a problem. It didn't come off patronizing to me. In fact, you only reinforced that which I had already considered. In doing so, you convinced me to just go with my gut.
