So I've come to a realization...I don't want to be accepted into Pathfinder Online for the first few months. I mean I do...but if I'm understanding how Ryan is trying to set up the world, it's better if I don't. I'm a father of a pre-teen girl and I work nights so I don't have as much time to play as some fans do. I mean I have more then enough knowledge about the setting and so on to be helpful...in role playing. But what Ryan wants first is active constant players with time and lots of mmorpg experience. So to help...I'll wait. Anyone else have this dilemma?

I would want nothing more then to be amongst the first players to step foot in PFO !!

I have read every post Ryan, Mark and team have made and read the blogs, I've even read Ryans 2050 blog. I am convinced that PFO will be a game changer in the industry and as a true Sandbox mmo lover I can't wait !!

Do I think PFO will be the perfect game for everyone? No.

Do I think PFO will be the perfect game for me? Maybe.

But I do know one thing for sure, I love Sandbox mmo's and so far from Ryans blogs and his answer to peoples posts here, Ryan seems to get it and my gut feeling is PFO will turn out to be in 2013 what UO, AC, SWG, EQ and EVE where in there time...

Innovative and New.

So for me I would be honored to be amongst the very first to enter PFO.

With that being said I don't think Ryan would expect anyone to place PFO ahead of there families or friends, so I think if you have a passion for sanbox games and a love for the PF world Ryan would love to have you participate even if you can't commit to 8 hours a day.

Good community and passion is more important then play time any day.

But who knows maybe Ryan is an evil slave driving tyrant. But then again who's to say what's Evil or not lol.

I have a similar situation, but I want to play. :-) I have gobs of general roleplay and MMORPG experience. I am a graduate student, so my time is precious, but I still want to be one of the first in--I'll make time.

Yeah... Job, Wife, Daughter, some TV Shows I still watch, books I like to read, etc.

I don't think that disqualifies at all.

And I'm very, very interested in being the first in the door :)

While I understand the sentiment, I would like to point out that it will be helpful for Goblinworks to get feedback from players who can't commit all of their time to the game. Their experience matters too.

If some proportion of the players don't spend as much time as the hardest core players, then more slots are possible. I assume that this was taken into account when guessing the number of slots that would be available.

I sincerely hope that Goblinworks won't only be inviting people who have all day to play, as they'll only be getting feedback from people with no jobs and no other hobbies. I think that would force PFO into too small of a niche.

I may only be able to play a little each day, but I'd love to get in this game when it opens.

Reserve your slot....then ebay it.

Oh trust me I plan on playing....I plan on playing as much as I can. Plus the wife wants to play too, along with our whole gaming group. I'm just saying that I'm not going to able to put as much time in at the start. So I'll let the hardcore mmorpgs build it up. That being said if they want to give me a first or second slot, I'll do my best to dish out my experience and abundance of all things pathfinder.
