****SPOILERS****
While flipping through the Sins of the Saviors book, I saw a section of a dungeon that sounded like anyone who looked in the mirror would be copied and the PCs would have to fight them. I didnt get to read much into after that, unfortunately, so I dont know how or where the book is taking it, but I came up with an idea, though Id like some suggestions for it.
I regularly add monsters to the combat encounters, since my party is larger than the AP accounts for. Since I have 7 players, each one is going to be given one of the sins, so that works well.
I thought I might somehow have them 'scanned' when they enter the big seven sin dungeon and recreate the party at appropriate levels and essentially have them fight an evil version of themselves before the end of the dungeon.
The idea is that whichever sin the person is assigned cause of the sin points they have earned through the AP, that this 'evil version' is what they would be if that aspect of their personality was more dominant.
I thought that instead of just perversing their own character ideas a bit and making that the copy, that the copy would have class levels in a class that sorta fits well with that sin (in a cliche trope kind of way).
So whoever gets greed might wind up having a Rogue as their evil version. The wrath person might get a Barbarian. Pride, a paladin (or anti-paladin more likely).
Also, posibly, though Im not sure about it yet, the reason the sinful trait is more dominant in this evil version of the PC is that they are/have the neccessary ingredients the players will need in order to make the runeforged weapons. Perhaps also the anti-party will be wielding runeforged weapons or something like that.
Basically Im looking for suggestions for what class/class combo/archetye do you think is/can be a cliche/trope for which of the seven deadly sins.
Whatcha think?
