And that, irony or not, pretty much disqualifies you of having any decency. I hope, neither you nor someone you love will ever have to suffer from something that would make you understand the uglyness of what you wrote here.

My Dad beat "any decency" out of me by the time I was 15. I think I know more about uglyness than you will ever know.

At some point you either own up to what you say or do as a presumed human adult, or you should be locked away until you are willing to acknowledge your responsibilities for yourself. So if you claim that you are trustworthy enough to be allowed among society, you can then stop hiding behind excuses of parental abuse.

Conversely if you can't you should be seeking professional help and avoiding forums like this one.

You know as little of my life as I do of yours, so guessing beyond anything read on these boards does make little sense to me. While I am sorry about your suffering through the hands of your dad, I stand by what I wrote - exept that your removal of the comment shows that I may have been wrong about 'any decency'.
