Combining houserules : Step advancement and E6

Has anyone used any of these two play options together?
Particularly;SKR, i wonder if you've used or considered e6.

Yes, i do it. Usually one increase per two sessions or so, until level 7 (i play e7). After that, they get either a skill point per session or a feat per four.

I use E7 and step advancement, works great.

I haven't hit 7th yet but am thinking a skill point, then a hit point post level per session, then a feat.

Stringburka makes it work.

E6 is normally a feat every 5k xp... I figure thats about 2 sessions of play at level 6 or so. Other EX play say a feat every 10k exp,,, I figure 4 sessions.

So I take the middle between 2 and 4 sessions for a feat and allow still SOME improvement session to session.

I figure a hp or skill point a session isn't a game breaker.
