It was a joke. The proper response is a polite chuckle. Although the golf clap given above was nice too.

So odd question... I pledged to the kickstart only for the tabletop stuff, and that has now been fulfilled. I was in early enough to get all of the daily item but have zero interest in the mmo. My question is there a way to sell off whatever time and items I have or can I trade them to someone? I mean in real life of course not in game.

There are lots of people who want them, and are willing to pay for them, but no real mechanism as yet but will be. In the meantime, you'd need to do a workaround, like creating a throwaway email account and use it to set up a login on goblinworks, then transfer that to someone else.
[edit: and your private mailbox will probably blow up soon if it hasn't already]

An announcement about when our Alpha Backers from the Kickstarters will get their Alpha invitations will be coming shortly! When they go out we'll post a brief blog update and make a forum post to keep everyone in the loop. So don't worry that you've missed anything until you see those notices.
Not yet, it seems.

@Kitsune: Did you see Bonny's wee update, from yesterday:-
Happy Wednesday everyone!
I just wanted to touch base and let you all know that the Customer Support inbox is currently down to a few open cases. We are getting ready for a live stream in the very near future and I believe a Goblin has managed to follow me home and eat half my socks, bagels and my secret stash of Baileys Irish Cream Truffles from Italy! :(
Should bring you some peace from pressing F5!

It's another Wednesday! More F5 happening, of course.
I'm going to guess that there will be a blog today, or first-thing tomorrow (if Ryan doesn't get it finished today before the cut-off). Further, I guess that the subject matter will include any or all of the following:
- a report (likely including pictures) of the PFO room at Paizocon
- announcement of the new Goblinworks.com forums being open for Alphas
- this week's Alpha uptime schedule

Goblinworks has opened it's official Alpha forums, here, which are only accessible to those with alpha access to the game.

That would be my goof, accidentally moved a page from the staging server to live that was not supposed to have been transferred (yet). Thank you for catching that Kitsune.

I am no longer expecting regularly scheduled blogs, or blogs that go into detail on design aspects. I expect we'll continue to see blogs released as needed and focused on specific aspects of the ongoing Alpha tests.
I've never worked in the gaming industry (*sigh*), but I've heard the stories about "crunch time" and I expect this is exactly where Goblinworks is right now.

Based on how stable the system is and how well it is handling the load, we will begin to increase the number of people with access to the Alpha incrementally. The existing Alpha testers will be given an invite they can give to a friend.
I'm rather anxiously awaiting an update on this. I'd really love to see more folks in Alpha, but I imagine they'll want to make sure this week's build is as stable as the last one.

When you were young and the blogs all arrived on time
You waited oh so patiently
(you know you did, you know you did, you know you did)
But if this ever changing world of landrush ending
makes you cry with distress
Just hit the refresh
hit the refresh
hit the refresh
hit the refresh
What does it matter to ya
Whether Zog is up or not
You got to get logged in
You need to give the escalations hell.

But if this ever changing world of landrush ending
makes you cry with distress
Just hit the refresh….

Shoot. I need to make a friend in Alpha, quickly! Who want's to be my friend? I can farm materials for you, craft, hunt, subject my children to doing these tasks while I'm away at work? Join your guild? Anyone? (Send me a PM) *wink*

I used my little brother (then he have 5 yo) to fish for me. Now he only wants to duel in Silvermoon started area, and don't want to fish for me anymore. Dam puberty.. :(
Why do they have to grow up? :/
So they can gain maturity and wisdom in time to appreciate us before we bid all adieu.

What we need is a Tower War update with some hard numbers on min. Company size, PVP window chart, final say on towers per company, etc..
What we really need is a look at the final proto template choices.
Tower wars will not start until at least a week after EE opens, so after Sept 22. I suspect there are a lot of things that must be ready for the 15th, and are higher priority.

The first major decisions and organizational challenges that settlements will face will be revolving around the Tower War.
As difficult as it sometimes is to get all the smurfs to speak up, it would be nice to have a little time between knowledge and formulation of plans.
