Fixed sets only please

<rant> Please reconsider your marketing strategy and don't sell random packs. Also, get rid of the concept of rare miniatures. If I want to buy the set with the Foobar monster in it then sell it to me. Don't tell me it’s a rare mini and that I have to keep buying packs until I get lucky.

I am not a collector and I don’t play Magic.

I bought the beginner box mini set, with ALL 4 minis known before purchase and I love it. Please sell monster sets like that. Or better yet, give me a price that gives me one of each of your entire monster mini offering and I will buy. </rant>

Agreed. Plus I read the Q&A on this topic of Mini Randomization and I now almost understand. It still seems like a mistake to me as I am a DM/GM who would otherwise love to purchase ALL of them. Oh well.

Paizo are going to be doing exactly that anyway...what's the problem with also selling random packs to people who want the extra choice and lower price that provides?

OP you'll get what you want, you can buy the minis individually and you can buy fully visible packs of themed monsters. You'll just have more to choose from (though you may have to pretend the rare figures don't exist - at no loss to you and big gain to those of us who want lots of cheap minis).

Without rarity and randomization the range of minis would be smaller and/or the price would be higher.

Keep in mind that we've worked hard with WizKids to mitigate some of the negatives that come with randomization—specifically, they've done their best to ensure that if you buy a case of Heroes & Monsters, you'll most likely get a very nearly complete set, and then we've arranged the commonalities so that the figures you'll get the most of will be the ones you'll actually *want* multiples of, and the ones you'll only get one of will be the ones you don't generally *need* more than one of.
