Reboot.

This has been ongoing- I've tried to enter data three times this week and it always looks the same. It also won't allow me to get my reserved PFS ID #s. I'm a new GM on here so maybe something is glitchy?

NOTE: I can't even scroll down far enough to get a save button :/

This is something we're looking into and hope to have a fix for by the end of the day.

I encountered this Issue today as well, If you hit the TAB key multiple times, it will scroll the page past where the Scroll bar allows. While this will allow you to enter the info as normal, its not the most ideal way to enter info :-)

So there is a problem with IE7 at least. The borders need a height to show for IE7 and the rest of the pages mostly render fine at this point(not great but good enough for use and no super major visual errors) except on this page which doesn't seem to have a doctype attached. I'm looking into attacking the doctype and seeing how that works with it and if we need to do anything else. Regardless the page is quirky and will be getting a complete rehaul eventually. I can fix it by making it not 100% height but it doesn't look as good as it should. Still, that's the quick fix and should be up soon. Later in the day I'll try to have this fixed so that it works a little better.

Thanks. All the character fields and buttons are showing now, but I'm not seeing the section to enter the GM information. There's a blank space where it should be. I smell pugwampis.

Just one field is missing? Really. O_O That's bizarre. OK. I'll see if that's something weird on our end or what.

OK. So I looked at this and the first time I went into it, I saw a blank are where the gm stuff was supposed to be. Great, I thought, I'll just grab that info in one of my other browsers and save all the information and then I have something to work with, only when I went to the page, I didn't see the problem anymore. So long story short, I can't seem to duplicate this problem anymore. Not sure if something changed or what... Let me know if you still see it there and then try a reload.

I assume this is IE7/6 as these are the only browsers that should have any trouble at all on the sight. Specifically, for that bit, IE6/7 doesn't support inline-blocks, which in this case, should just mean that it expands to the size of the containing block. Which doesn't look as good, but should be usable.

hmmm, so if you are looking to duplicate the problem check out my event #9109...

on the plus side #9111 is working fine now : )

so does the tech speak imply that if I use a non-windows browser I shouldn't have these problems?

Yeah, it should work fine on recent firefox/chrome/safari/opera. It's just that IE6 especially and IE7 to a lesser degree don't conform to some basic standards. IE8 is much better though still a little broken. Everything I hear about IE9 is good so far, but I've not gotten to play with it at all as it's still in beta. But I test on Safari 5.1.2 and Firefox 8.01 I think, off the top of my head and then try to get things correctish on IE7 and if I can without breaking the above, then IE6. This one is weird though and I'm not sure how to make it appear.

If you see that, actually, see if you can get the source for the page and send it to webmaster@paizo.com. I'd sure appreciate it. There is probably something simple I can change but I need a solid example and I can't seem to duplicate it anymore, myself.
