Scarab Sages 1/5

Last call on super awesome special edition lodge t-shirts for our first anniversary event! If you haven't played Blood Under Absalom you really should make time on the 15th. Playing it at SCARAB last year was one of the best times I've ever had around a RPG table. Not only that, but every table at the Tale will be playing the same adventure simultaneously! Fantastic Criticals, Devastating Fumbles, Final deathstrokes, all announced to the entire store by your illustrious Venture Captain! Its a really unique event.

SIGN UP AT THE WARHORN TO BE PART OF THE AWESOME

Also, I'll be sending out the order for the t-shirts tomorrow, so if you want one, lemme know quick!

Shirt Order as of now

Thanks for handling the ordering of the shirts, Kevin. And thanks for the idea in the first place. Nice call. Dink: congrats for leading the charge with GM 101. It's a nice feeling being on the cutting edge of gaming awesomeness. Sometimes I almost feel like where we go, Paizo follows.

And speaking of gaming awesomeness, I just got time off from work to attend Scarab in January. For you guys attending: where can I find the warhorn to sign up for games? Someone please take pity on me and give me a clue!

GO!

Everyone's doing it.
Then we're jumping off a cliff.
Peer pressure all the way! :)

Jake is correct, QC. Not going to SCARAB definitely equals not cool.

Last year I went and it was a blast. It's a 99% pathfinder event and it was well worth the price of admission. There are some really great GM's down there also. If you can make it, you should.

Shadow Lodge 2/5

I'm going. Can't wait. My first "vacation" in a year and a half. ^_^

Shadow Lodge 3/5

Heya peoples...

I am running Intro Steps 3 at 9:30 pm tomorrow evening. Let me know ASAP if you would like to join. I will be using roll20.net and Ventrilo.

So far it has gone well and I enjoy the VTT format. From here on out I will likely be running mostly sanctioned modules over 2-3 sessions if you are interested in future adventures.

My email is enaudible at google mail if you want to let me know more directly. I have an open invite to an online PFS group also.

Cheers,
Chris

Is it January yet ... ;)

Happy Thanks Giving hope y'all have a wonderful day eating turkey and being thankful for all the stuff and family you have.

Grand Lodge 4/5 *

I am thankful today for the best Pathfinder Lodge around, and each and everyone of y'all that make it that way.

Alright, I'm thankful for that everyday, but today I can disguise my gratitude as part of the holiday.

Peace, love, and cranberry sauce...

Dink

Silver Crusade 4/5

I ate all my cranberry sauce lastnight... I think I'll have to pick a can or two up on the way home from work to eat while I watch movies and another can to eat while I play PFS :)

I may not get to eat thanksgiving with family and friends but I get pathfinder from the comfort of home. :P

Sovereign Court

Happy Turkey Day all ... I forgot the freaking cranberry sauce <smacks head>, but am finishing up some jalapeno cornbread right now ... might have to hit the store shortly.

Y'all have fun and don't eat too much. ;)

Silver Crusade 5/5

I'm thankful for all my gamer brothers and sisters. Eat, chill, and resist the urge to join the madness tomorrow.... Rest up for all day gaming on Saturday!

Peace,
Luth

haha i laugh at black Friday it is for the weak........... and people who actually have money :( HAPPY TURKEY DAY PEOPLE!!

Rules question, guys...

Ok, Say for example you had a character Rogue 6/Ranger 3. What is his BAB (including the BAB for the secondary attack)? I would venture to say that it would be BAB of ranger 3 (+3) plus BAB of rogue 6 (+4) but how do you figure the second attack bonus? Is it a +1 or a +2? I know you get a second attack at +6 which is +1 but does it then progress to +2 when you gain a level or does it stay at +1? On the Rogue scale, the secondary attack bonus progresses strangely. On the Ranger scale, it progresses by one every level like a fighter. Anyone know the answer?

The Exchange 2/5

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Your second attack from a higher BAB will always be the main BAB -5. So in your case it is 7/2.

Shadow Lodge 3/5

Thanks for playing last night Jake! And for letting me cut my teeth on you a bit as a new GM... Hope you had fun...

Fun was had man. I enjoyed playing pathfinder in my pajamas. :)

Shadow Lodge 3/5

And somebody please do an ear-splitting scream on my behalf tomorrow... My folks do a a seemingly more logical Saturday Thanksgiving, but that is mucking up my PFS.

One request - any chance we could have one regular scenario on the schedule for December 8th for those of us who can't do full afternoon sessions?

Grand Lodge 4/5 *

Never fear; we'll have a regular scenario provided for 12/8. Let us see how the dust settles post-holiday weekend and we'll get something up there.

Sign up for Blood Under Absalom everyone!!!

Hey Paul, for GMing there in Asheville, can we print out chronicles and such there, or do I need to bring them?

Dark Archive 3/5

They can print them there, they just need the file. I usually just bring them for when I run scenarios.

Grand Lodge 4/5 *

Just let me know ahead of time what chronicles you need, and we can print them. We can also print them at the store, but you'll get charged for it.

You'll have to show up to find out, but you'll show your grandkids in the years to come if you do.

Excitement! How hard is this one to GM though? If its not to horrible I might look into offering myself if you can't find 5. ^_^;

Very complicated.... Dink will be coordinating 5 tables of players.... You can gm next time we run it, as will I.

Shadow Lodge 2/5

Any more information about the kingsport trip?

Grand Lodge 4/5 *

That's a great question, Galen!

Hey RainyDay, what time are we gaming in Kingsport this coming Saturday?

So far I've got just two others joining me on this trip over the mountain: Galen and Bailey.

Any others?

3/5 RPG Superstar Season 9 Top 32, RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16, RPG Superstar 2013 Top 16

The game starts at 1 on Saturday at DeWayne's World downtown, although it's not unusual for my players to show up as much as an hour early. (Crazy, right?) I've got the event set up on the Paizo website, but I don't own either of the scenarios we're playing, so if you could bring your own chronicle sheets that would be great.

As it stands, the higher-level table ("Severing Ties") will be pretty much full (6 or 7 players), while the lower-level table ("Voice in the Void") still has a couple of spots open. So if you want to have some decent gear to your name before playing "Murder's Mark" next weekend, this would be a great chance!

Shadow Lodge 2/5

Paul, I never got the email, but it turns out I have the scenario
But where do you want to meet to carpool?

Grand Lodge 4/5 *

Galen, I'll make sure and have plenty of chronicles printed off for Voice in the Void as well as Severing Ties. No need to worry about that stuff.

Alright, shall we shove off from the WT parking lot around 11AM, fellows? It's about an hour and 15 minutes to the place. I'll happily drive.

Excited we are, Rainy Day! This APL Field Trip is open to any others who wish to come along as well!

-Dink

Dark Archive 3/5

Just so people know, Murder's Mark is available to characters of levels 1 and 2 only and From Shore To Sea is for levels 5 - 7.

Sovereign Court

All of Saturday's tables have now been entered. If anyone sees nay issues, let me know.

Also, I am a maybe for Saturday, Dink. The regular alternating Saturday game may have a break this weekend.

Scarab Sages 1/5

To Aly, Sonne, and Dink, I just saw those PMs, but my bro says he can revise the order. I'll update the spreadsheet soon!

Grand Lodge 4/5 *

Chris, thanks for the info! Of course, I had to look at the chronicle sheet to find out that info - they didn't print that ANYWHERE but the chronicle sheet. I've left the Warhorn site the same; I'll let individual GMs explain that to folks as needed at the Game Day.

Dain, we would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have you along. Let me know as we get closer.

Thorynn, let me know when I can settle up with ya.

Happy Monday, y'all! Who's up for some more cranberry sauce?

(*barf*)

(Also, we officially have 20 players signed up for the Blood Under Absalom event on December 15th to celebrate our 1 year anniversary!!! Shiny!!!)
