It makes me smile to know that the US congress isn't the sole light of absolute stupidity in the world.


Well, to be fair, Europe has polluted their water for well over 2 thousand years. It's why most of the European countries have such draconian pollution laws these days.


I would need to see their actual claim. From the looks of it, the bottled water company was trying to say people should drink a specific amount of water (1.2 Liters), and the verdict is out on how much water people should consume daily. There is significant evidence that people are overhydrating because of misquotes by the media that people should drink 8 cups of water a day.
