Hi,
The picture below was taken with a cell phone, it's from an original piece done by my cousin. Sorry I don't have a better image.
It's oil and the dimensions are 15" by 8 and 1/4".
I want to be able pay her what the piece deserves if I can afford it, I know there are many freelancing artists in these boards. What would be a fair price for it?
Thanks for your feedback

Hello.
I am not an artist, free lance or other wise, but having known and associated with people of a professional graphic background I can say how hard it can be to 'Price' things.
May I suggest perusing a web site such as Deviant ART to see what people there consider is a fair price for their passion and work?
I hope I have been of some help
*Bows*

I trained as an artist early on, only to become a scientist for a "day job," so take this with a grain of salt:
This has nothing to do with quality or artistic medium, and everything to do with the market. If I produce the greatest masterpiece ever seen by mankind and no one offers to buy it, that painting is worth exactly $0. If I start a popular comic book series and then die, any hideous scribble from Issue #1 is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. The real value of art is other than financial!
A fair price is one in the range of other offers for it that she's received. If there have been no other offers, then anything you give her for it (that she accepts, of course) is, by definition, a fair price.
