Hey there,
I am running multiple game sessions per week, for several groups. There are crossove between the groups.
Tonight I am starting to run "Feast of Ravenmoor" and am anticipating that it will tke 2 sessions for this group to complete.
My questions becomes this; I have 2 players 1 XP away from leveling and they are in other groups of mine during, so if they complete a scenario they will level. If they play the characters they'll have in "Feast of Ravenmoor" should those characters be allowed to level? Or will the gain 2 levels after "Feast of Ravenmoor" completes?

As the instructions for running Feast of Ravenmoor as a PFS legal adventure reads,
Since this is a multi-session event that exists outside of
the normal time frame of traditional Pathfinder Society
Scenarios, characters being played through Feast of
Ravenmoor may be used in other legal Pathfinder Society
events while adventuring in the Ravenmoor.
I would expect that the character can adventure on another PFS scenario and earn XP and Prestige and even level as long as this does not take the character out of the range to legally play the module. i.e. cannot have 11 XP and play another scenario until the character is done with the module. Going from 8 XP to 9 XP would be fine.

You basically need to take a snapshot of the legal character at the start of the module, and play that copy of the character in the adventure. That way, if the actual version of the character plays in other scenarios during the downtimes between sessions for the module, it's not holding the character back, and you don't have to adjust for purchases and usage of equipment made during the scenarios on the character "frozen" in time for the module.
As always, the character receiving the chronicle sheet for the module would gain the reward for the characters current level (which in this case could be different than when they started the adventure).
I hope that made sense...it did when I was typing it for the most part =p.
