FAQ on hotel wrote:To book a room with this special rate, reservations must be made over the phone. How 20th century of them, I had hoped to get everything booked and sorted this week. At least they gave us the Monday to recover. I'll Skype them later!
They are going to see if they can get us a code for online, but we aren't sure if that will happen yet.

A lot has to do with how the reservation system works (the one that lets you book through Expedia, Travelocity et al). If they let the rate 'into the wild' through the reservation system so it can be done online, it means anyone who wants a room can find that rate randomly, online or through a travel agent/agency. Think of it as easy of them versus ease of you. They will win out a lot more than you will. :/

Glen, how many days will you be in LA?
If you want or need I will see about hooking you up with some games while in the Angel City!!
Robyn
That would be fantastic Robyn, thanks for the offer!
I am in LA from 6 am Saturday June 30 however the weekend is for family. Monday July 2 and Tuesday July 3 are probably available at this stage.
I fly out Thursday morning July 5 to Seattle.
I'd be interested in any Pathfinder games available, thanks again for your kind offer.

One more month to go! Looking forward to everything!
Direct flight cancelled by the airline! Travelling through Australia to get to the United States. Nothing like a 1,340 mile detour twice over outbound and inbound <sigh>
I intend to bring goblin toejam to PaizoCon and share it with any new friends.

Have to remember for the group code when spelling out "PAIZOCON 2012" to say "Zee" instead of "Zed". Heh.
Anyone used to taking orders over the phone should be used to Zed, and probably even prefer it.
Due analog telephones cutting out the high-frequency harmonics, "Zee" sounds exactly like "C" over the phone. "Zed", however, is unique.
