Aegis Customization Powerful Build and Augmented Weapon

Product Discussion

1 person marked this as FAQ candidate.

I know Powerful Build state y stacks with size increase from spell powers or such that increase size but umm does is stack with Augmented Weapon costumization? Seem rather cheap pay 2 costumization points for each avility plus size.increase and the weapon dmg would be increased 3 times already and would increase a 4th when Aegis can get the Huge size increase.

From Augmented Weapon:

Quote:
This ability does not stack with effects that increase the aegis’s size category, such as expansion.

So Augmented Weapon MAY stack with Powerful Build, but it will not stack with Increased Size or Improved Increased Size.

I guess I don't see how any of that is "cheap."

Customizations are the primary class ability of the Aegis. 2 points at 1st level is 67% of his points. At 6th level (when augmented weapon becomes available), it's 22%. You're spending a portion of your class abilities to increase your damage output - instead of getting defensive options like Evasion or Power Resistance.

A magic item that grants permanent Enlarge Person, FYI, costs 4,000 gp (1x1x2000 gp x2) according to the rules of item creation. ;)
