How do I add NPCs to the characters tab of my campaign?

So, I'm super lost at how to even run a PbP game, but I'm going for it! While I wait for anyone to join, (or my friends to stop e-mailing me their character concepts and post them!) I am trying to set up the game, but I'm not sure how to add characters to the characters tab. Can anybody help me?

Every unique post ID in the "game" tab get added to the players section. Wether you want it or not. The GM can then go into edit mode from the campaigns tab and select who is a PC or an NPC.

My 2cp, for what it's worth, is not to go nuts making aliases. You can never get rid of them, even after the game is finished. I'd suggest playing for a bit and work out the details as you go.
