I love goblins. I want to play a goblin for the Carrion Crown AP. My GM, however, is somewhat against the idea, reminding me that monstrous humanoids will more or less be killed on sight in this AP. Be that as it may, what can I do to try to survive? Currently I am thinking some sort of bard-goblin with good disguise + using disguise self spells.
Any other suggestions?

Not that I can really think of.
Part of the problem is that there is a lot of social interacts in this path, meaning there's lots and lots of places where the group having a goblin with them can get them all in trouble.
There's also the problem is that to effectively disguise the fact that you are a goblin you will have to not act like a goblin. And is it really worthwhile to play a goblin if you can't be a lovable, psychotic, fire-loving freak?
And what do the other players think? They'll have some serious problems if you bring in a goblin and NPCs find out. Let alone them being able to accept traveling with you.
I'd make sure the group is cool with the concept before making the character.

I understand your pain (as a fellow Goblin-lover), but I think you'd have similar problems running a Goblin in any of the APs (unless the GM took steps to substantially change things - tho the upcoming Pirates path might work better for it).
My CC campaign has enough trouble as it is: two Dhampyrs, an Elf, and a bunch of foreigners. Pretty much the only character I DON'T harass is the native Ustilavian Varisian Fighter (and he's dumb as a post)! Generally though the only PC I have to worry about getting into real trouble with the locals is the Dhampyr Death Mage - looking strange and acting odd is not a crime, but in a Pharasma - dominated society like Ustalav, Undead-generating Necromancy (like what he wants to do) is a definate no-no.
A Goblin would have (I think) both more, and less trouble than that. Ustalav doesn't have native Goblins, so many might simply mistake him for a degenerate & deformed half-orc (not without it's own perils, but you can use suggestions from the CCPG on half-orcs for a model on how to handle things if you go that route). Disguising himself as a deformed & freakish halfling, gnome or child of some sort works about as well (though he might need to worry about being harassed into joining a freak show or being abused by drunks or other obnoxious jingoists). Magic, as you say, helps out a lot, but I'd recommend beefing up your Bluff skill to pair with the Disguise.
All is moot however if your GM is adamant in thinking it's a bad idea - it just wont be fun if he/she can't see the fun in having such a character in their game.

The hat of disguise is your friend.
Before then, you might find disguising yourself as a tiny leper might cause less issues with the townsfolk than letting them see you as a goblin.
Remember, you can always use the townsfolk's ire to your advantage. Without going into detail, my group did something bad (and were seen doing it) but spent the rest of the night in the tavern where weird went down. Our changeling got blamed for it in 8 different statements to the sheriff, who just rolled his eyes and took dutiful notes. Instant alibi.

There's a thread floating around revolving around a goblin alchemist using his potions of alter self to disguise himself - but he is starting at level 10...
Maybe "attach" yourself to another PC being his/her prisoner or pet or familiar or something until you can fend for yourself.
EDIT: Found it!
Ruyan.

Or the freak in a traveling carnival. But this would require the whole party going along with the idea.

Attaching yourself to the party as a "bound servant" or some similar role would probably help with the peasants / pitchforks / torches problem.
A Witch with the disguise hex would give you "normalcy" for a few hours to start (all day when you get higher level)
A Rogue with decent Cha & Disguise, as well as the "Pass for Human" and "Childlike" feats would go a long way to helping you blend in as well.
Alternatively, suck up the hatred / fear, be the "bogeyman" in the beginning adventure, hide from everyone like a proper craven gobbo, and sap/shank anyone who makes it impossible for you to survive. Basically, play a Goblin "Riddick."

The AP doesn't lend itself to well to goblins. If you are really pulling for a goblin, then here are some ideas.
1) The disguise self options. Pretend you are a halfling.
2) Pretend you are the animal companion of some other PC.
3) A hireling of the group, or captured animal.
Good luck! It is an awesome AP!
